To The Lighthouse presents an ambient vision of a future in which a network of autonomous, man-made technologies have outlived their creators to forever monitor the causes and effects of climate change, outputting data for nothing but their own archiving.

 

Made for and first shown at The Night Gallery, an exhibition project by Future Firm in which films are called for, selected, and screened during nighttime hours to the public that may happen to walk by. Many thanks to Future Firm for giving us a prompt to work from and a venue in which to show this piece.
